He needs to smell good. I cannot get physical with a guy who doesn't smell good. Talking about body smell not being thoroughly washed. Do you know what I mean?

Also to mitigate food smells, open your windows and crank the AC for a minute or two before you get out the car, it'll get rid of most if not all of the smell

I do have a "no food in the car" due to it being a choking hazard. It does keep my car clean, but that's a benefit, not a reason. Also, thanks for the idea of using baking soda and vacuuming at the car wash.

One of mine that pisses some people off is that I don't want to parent any other children than my own in any capacity. I have 3, they are my world and I love parenting them, but I have no interest in blending in more. I also can't imagine being with someone who doesn't have a growth mindset. Gentle words and a calm demeanor in conflict is essential to me. I love that laugh quote. Life is too hard to not make it fun!

My parents had a no food and only water rule for our car. It made sense when I would carpool with others and saw stains everywhere. My father is a mechanic so keeping our vehicles in good shape for selling purposes later was a high priority. So we never were allowed to slam doors or be rough with the car. And honestly that has given me the mindset of treating everything I own gently so it can last longer and look nicer. ( now that we are older and more responsible we are allowed food and drinks in the car because we can balance it and clean up after ourselves)
